About Heart Horse Portrait Sessions
I work with you and your horse to introduce equipment and ensure that safety comes first. There is never any rush. The session won't start until all parties are comfortable and at ease before the session starts. I encourage you to share any ideas for poses or photographs you would like to have taken. Photographs are the keepers of memories; they are time machines that can transport us back to a place, remind us of a day or an event. I use professional printers, ensuring a high-quality print that will look amazing and outlast consumer printers. Basic Prints on Gloss or Matte Paper are available via the online store connected to your gallery, as are digital files.
Album & Other Quality Product Offerings
Professional quality printed and bound albums area available. A variety of sizes and stylings with different options are offered. I offer 6x6 and 8x8 square albums with 24 pages. I also carry Fine Art, Lay Flat, Flush Mount, Accordion Mini Books with a variety of covers and styles. Canvas gallery wraps, framed and float framed, prints on metal and wood, acrylic prints, double glass frames. Prices on request and can be viewed at the link further down this page. A popular choice is the 6x6 square 24 page album that fits in a handbag, pocket or briefcase is £60. A 6x8 lay flat album with 20 pages is available prices starting at £82. Remembering Your Heart Horse Session
Knowing that memories are more real as you look at photos this package is for older horses as the near their retirement or end of life This is typically a 1 hour package. If, circumstances of ill health or difficulty in movement, time will not be an issue. The main focus is getting cherished photographs. We'll take all the time needed to get the best possible photographs under the circumstances. Session includes an online gallery for review and selection of your images. Included is one professional quality printed and bound lay flat 20 page 6x8 album. Design fee with up to 4 free changes included. Additional album options available. You will also receive a web sized digital copy of your gallery in colour and in B&W Starting at £165
Basic Heart Horse Session £70
30 minutes of time, private online gallery with all of your edited images. Included is a digital web sized copy of your images with a custom watermark for use online as a profile photo or to show off your horse on Social Media. Also available are canvases, framed prints, collages and prints on metal or wood. Contact me for a full list of other available products.
Extended Heart Horse Session £120
45 minutes of time, private online galley with all of your edited images. Included is a web sized copy of all your images with a custom watermark for use online as a profile photo or to show off your horse on Social Media. 2 5x7 prints and 4 6x4 prints of your choice. Heart Horse Collage Session £135
The Heart Horse Collage session is an economical way to get one large print (a collage of up to 7 images) framed and ready to hang. This includes One hour of session time. A web sized copy of all your images for use online with a custom watermark. You can mix session styles and include more than one horse. Included is a 20”x16” framed collage made up of up to 7 of your favorite images . You'll review your photos in a private online gallery and choose your favorites for your collage. You can mix session styles within the allotted session time. Additionally you'll get 4 free design changes from the original design.
Digital Heart Horse Collection £170
Includes 1 hour of session time. A private gallery from which to view and select your images from. You will receive 4 High resolution edited images that you can down load as many times as you like. Your entire session in web sized, watermarked, digital images in both colour and B&W for you to use online & social media (images are cropped to 4x5 so that they can be used on any social media platform). You can purchase additional high resolution images as well as albums and prints, both framed and unframed. Other print options include prints on metal or wood, acrylic blocks or canvases.
Ultimate Heart Horse Portrait Session £350
A 2 hour session allowing for any number of outfit changes, at the location of your choice. Included in this session is a digital copy of your entire gallery in high resolution. You can download and share as many times as you like. A web sized copy of your entire gallery in both colour and B&W. A private online gallery where you can view all your images and make any additional purchases such as albums, frames and prints.

These are some ideas that you can incorporate into your session time.
At Liberty – Horse is running or moving about their enclosure, a training/school ring or an area of your choosing. No leads are used. If a head collar is necessary I suggest a simple leather or thin rope head collar be worn.
I See You - Focusing on the connection between you and your horse. These images are stylish and relaxed. I will look around your chosen location to find the best light and backgrounds for your photos. I welcome any ideas you may have regards to posing you and your horse. Again I recommend a thin head collar or a plain one
Black Back Ground Photographs - These can be done with whatever head gear you choose, however I recommend a simple head collar and a plain lead. I will require a large barn entrance, covered area or indoor arena with natural light at the entrance. A stall will not work in this situation. The space needs to be large enough to position the horse side-on and be able to move around.
In Motion Mounted - This can be anything from riding, jumping and can be photographed from various angles. I may need to use flash when capturing jumping depending on the weather.
Styled Sessions - These sessions will require (at least) two hours. I have a creative vision and a lot of ideas that inspire and help me make unique and individual photographs. I also create homage’s of some of my favourite photographs, if you have a favourite photograph we can create a version of that image, with our take on it. Every Styled Session starts with a consultation (no charge) where I can meet you or speak with you on the phone or video call to get to know a little about you. Your likes, dislikes and especially discuss any ideas you may have that you’d like to incorporate into your session. During your session you can change outfits as many times as time permits. If you have a creative side and a flair for design this is the ideal package for you!
I am fully covered and insured however:
If you choose to ride without a helmet, or bareback it is done so at your own discretion and risk. No one knows your horse better than you do. I trust your judgement and guidance regarding helmets and saddles with the understanding, that you know what is best for you and your horse. As such, these choices are at your discretion and your understanding of the risks. Safety is paramount and top priority for all involved, no photograph is worth taking any unreasonable risks.
